Pecan Chocolate Chip Biscuits

Beware- do not make these when you are home alone!
INGREDIENTS
  • 250g pecan milled to butter
  • 150g of brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 100g dark choc (we recommend 70% lindt)
  • sea salt

Thermomix instructions

Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees C

  1. Mill your pecans to a fine dust and set aside
  2. Mill your sugar to a fine dust and set aside
  3. Chop your chocolate to small pieces
  4. Blend all the ingredients except salt and chocolate
  5. Mix the chocolate
  6. Scoop about 30ml (2 tbl spn)  drop on a baking sheet …squash a little to flatten … remember to leave a bit of space in between, these will flatten out as they cook
  7. Cook till browned (10 to 12 mins)
  8. Sprinkle with salt
  9. Leave on sheet for 5 mins to cool (these are too squidy to move immediately) then place on cooling rack
  10. Apply restraint!
Using the thermomix
1. Dust the sugar and set aside, 3 s on 9
1. choc on 6 till pieces (100g)- set aside
2. cream the pecans … 20-40s on 9

3.  eggs, sugar, baking soda, salt, vanilla, blend 10 s on 6
4. Return the choc in on reverse 6 s on 6
 Follow instruction 7 onwards above
